Surprise!

I'm not sure if you all know this or not but we applied for The Artspace project in Loveland Co....and were accepted! The process took some time and getting all our stuff in one place -finally- wasn't easy! The last few months have been about getting settled in, getting back up to speed and trying to get this space in order. I know I haven't been posting as much but I have not had internet and trying to find wi-fi spots on a regular basis has been quite tough. But... I have been exploring my new neighborhood and have so much new stuff to share with all of you! I'm excited to get back to writing and posting (hopefully more regularly) and sharing with you all the lovely things about this great town I'm in. Here's some pics of us when we were told that we had been accepted and saw our new space for the first time!!

Masonville

I'd totally forgotten how quaint and nostalgic Masonville Co. is. I took a drive up there with some friends a few weeks back to see some sights and visit the little store there. What a wonderful way to wile away an afternoon! The whole store is full of Victorian, wedding, and steampunk stuff and so much fun to reminisce and chat about the past. Had myself a ginger beer and some laughs. It has changed very little, perhaps only a little bigger or fuller than it was before and it was absolutely just as wonderful as I remembered.

Cafe Ole

For all your coffee and non coffee needs please visit this fabulous little coffee shop. Tina, the owner, is the sweetener in your morning coffee. All you will need is a sweet greeting from her and the heaven of her homemade banana bread to get you off to the perfect start of your day!! This place has become one of my favorite places to hang! Please remember NO SOLICITING OR ZOMBIES ALLOWED!! LoL

I'm back!!!....

I'm back!!!.....
Almost anyone that knows me (us) knows that I (we) recently moved back to Colorado. We moved home for many reasons, but the kids and g-kids are the #1 reason. We'd grown very tired of only getting to see them maybe once or twice a year, and face-timing in between. Missing so much of them and their accomplishments was hurting our hearts. And now that I've returned home to my sweet little faces, and beautiful mountain country, I'm determined to get back to blogging. I will post all the same stuff, the local stuff and the like, here, only for Fort Collins instead of Las Vegas.
Much love to anyone reading along....

The Downtown Grand

I did recently meander through the Downtown Grand, formerly The Lady Luck in downtown Las Vegas. I was so pleasantly surprised by the low key, stay awhile, play awhile vibe, and the modern interpretation of vintage chic and artsy interior design it had going on. I'll post a few pics here but if you want to see a few more, and you have an Instagram feed or app head on over to my Instagram account: Krazyheart1. I'd love it if you'd say hi!!

I do little mini Instagram tours through many of the casinos because I love the beautiful and individual style of each one and I love showing you all my city. Every time something new gets opened or an old favorite gets remodeled I rush to see it. Like I said... I ❤️Las Vegas!!

Bad Bad Blogger

...I am bad blogger. There I said it. Bad, bad, bad.

In the fall of last year I sustained a shoulder injury that left me with such pain, that I ended up getting frozen shoulder from it. At a point, I could barely move without searing pain, and the least pain I felt came from being flat of my back. On the floor, on the bed, on the ground, it didn't matter. I also have arthritis in my back and shoulders. So for literally 6 months I dealt with that. I would post pics to my facebook pages from my phone, laying flat of my back on the floor with my feet elevated, but sitting at my desk at my PC was IMPOSSIBLE. The pain would just feel like it was going to drop me. I nearly passed out a couple of times just from the pain. I muddled through somehow with painkillers and pain therapy and with months of rehabilitation I finally got the use of that shoulder back. Yay!! (mind you the arthritis is here to stay and will progressively get worse) but I will deal with that.

But I really struggled even before the injury with the blogger format being different on my phone, my IPad, and my PC. Three very different formats and it seemed impossible for me to figure out what the problem was. I tried everything!! I would write part of my blog posts from my phone, or from my IPad, then try to add the finishing touches and pics to a blogpost from my personal computer, but nothing really worked. The words would be very small, or VERY LARGE, and the pictures seemed to overlap and jumble and have seemingly crazy issues just posting normally. In the end, the frustration got the better of me, and I quit trying to figure it out. And if you know me, you know it's hard to put me off of something I really want to learn or figure out. I will give it many many chances before I let it derail me from my path. I do not like to give up. Just not in my DNA.

Anyway, the injury and the problems with Blogger did detour me for awhile but I have not stopped thinking about how much I would truly like to run a successful, interesting, and well read blog. And how determined I am to keep in touch with you all, even if it's on a less frequent basis, than daily or weekly.

Now that I have much less pain on a daily basis I am back at it, trying to do it again. But NOW the personal computer is down. Haha Murphy's Luck right??

No problem, I'm sitting here typing this blogpost on my phone!! And I think I will keep trying until I either spontaneously combust one day in computer rage or until I figure out Wordpress. whichever comes first. Anybody wanna place any bets?? LoL

So all excuses aside, I'm trying it again,

...and again...and again...

because I am die hard to the core.

Keep looking for me, if you're interested.
I have 5 Facebook pages, a Pinterest, 2 Instagram accts., a Twitter acct., 2 Tumblers and TWO BLOGS, and a few of those get really regular postings! Heheheh. I'm not going anywhere and I'm fairly easy to find online. I'm still making art every day and doing shows when I can. Please know I appreciate your follows, comments and likes. ❤️

Night time is the right time...

...to get some pretty shots of The Container Park down on Fremont St. in the Fremont Street East Entertainment District.
